Quiet escape in the heart of the city

Set within a historic townhouse dating back to 1891, Côtil is a place for slow mornings, long afternoons and evenings that begin over a glass of wine.

Thoughtful food, carefully chosen wines and timeless surroundings come together in an intimate setting, offering a moment of calm amongst the lively streets of Vasastaden.

Opening spring 2027.

Where Time Moves Differently

Côtil takes its name from Alderney, a small island in the Channel Islands shaped by both Britain and France. For us, the name carries something more personal. Memories of a place where life seems to move at its own pace.

That idea followed us home.

In a townhouse built in 1891, Côtil is our interpretation of a place that feels increasingly rare. Somewhere to arrive without hurry. Where mornings are allowed to become afternoons, another bottle might find its way to the table, and good conversation matters more than the time.

There is a respect for what came before. For old buildings, traditions and things made to last. Its character draws from both sides of the Channel, from grand cafés and family tables, old houses and places discovered while travelling. Some things are inherited, others collected along the way.

Côtil is made for good food, good wine, thoughtful hospitality and people.

A place to breathe, to be inspired and to stay a little longer than planned.
